Tahereh Mafi's New York Times bestselling Shatter Me series is perfect for fans who crave action-packed young adult novels like Veronica Roth’s Divergent, Suzanne Collins’s The Hunger Games, and Marie Lu’s Legend. No one knows why Juliette's touch is fatal, but The Reestablishment has plans for her. Plans to use her as a weapon. But Juliette has plans of her own. After a lifetime without freedom, she's finally discovering a strength to fight for herself—and for a future with the one boy she thought she'd lost forever. Tahereh Mafi has created a captivating and original story that combines the best of dystopian and paranormal and was praised by Publishers Weekly as "a gripping read from an author who's not afraid to take risks." This collection includes the first three novels, Shatter Me, Unravel Me, and Ignite Me; and the two novellas in the series, Destroy Me and Fracture Me. And don’t miss Defy Me, the shocking fifth book in the Shatter Me series!

Judgment Of Books Shatter Me Complete Collection: Shatter Me, Destroy Me, Unravel Me, Fracture Me, Ignite Me (Shatter Me #1-3)
I picked up this book one day because I was bored, and I thought it would be a great filler-book, just a quick read that I wouldn't get attached to. I only had the first book, but I assumed that I wasn't going to be into it enough to spend more money on the series.I was so incredibly wrong.I started Shatter Me expecting a shitty novel with a weird writing style and a re-used plot, but what I got was a unique, interesting, and wonderful take on the popular dystopian genre. Instead of being bland

This book series left me with a serious book hangover. I have never had a book hangover like this either. It was a serious bender that lead to the worst book hangover ever. You get so caught up in the story, so tied in with the characters, that when the final word are read and you shut the cover of the book all you can do is stare at the wall for a minute and think to yourself, "What do I do now?" I strongly recommend this series for someone looking to be swept away. Tahereh sucks you into this

Shatter Me:Original rating: ★★☆☆☆ Read in 2012Rating after re-read: ★★☆☆☆ Read 5/11/19Seven years later and this is still just as awful as I remembered. This first book is a hot, boiling ass mess and I will never understand the hype of it and why people tote it as the second coming. The writing is just above tolerable but the prose is laughably bad. Terrible, cheesy dialogue, a weak main character in Juliette and to top it off we get the bland bowl of oatmeal that is Adam Kent. *snores* Thank

When I first saw "Shatter Me" on Goodreads as I was looking for books to read, I didn't think much of it because of the tremendous amount of bad ratings the first book had. My friend persuaded me to give it a try anyway, saying that the series got better as the books went on. And so I did, and I will never regret my decision. I finished this series in about a week and a half - which I honestly think isn't too bad. What makes this series so unforgettable is Mafi's deception of Juliette's (the

First of all I absolutely have to mention THE COVERS. Oh my eyes. They are so so so beautiful. Hats off to whoever designed these beauties. The books are worth buying just to have such gorgeousness on my bookshelf. *swoon*I remember when I first read Shatter Me I was intrigued by the idea but a little put of by Tahereh Mafis writing style. It was too much for me, too poetic and struck me as trying too hard and failing. It was distracting me from the story. Some of the lines had me stopping like

Honestly enjoyed this. I did think Adam went through some unnecessary butchering to get the relationships in place, but I'm quite pleased where it ended up (because I'm a fangirl at heart). Speaking of relationships, I thought it was a tad dramatic, but then you had Kenji and his comments poking fun at the drama. That was a nice touch - it showed self-awareness, and ensured that I never felt that this book took itself too seriously. Plot wise, there was nothing overly surprising. In a sense, I

Brilliant. I loved every minute of it, all 3 books and both novellas wer perfect, Tahereh is such a brilliant author and she is an inspiration to all. I would love to meet her, Her writing is so brilliant, there is not a page that lets you down, her plot twists and character develpments are AMAZING. I love it, really one of my favourites, I would recommend anyone to read these books, it's perfect.
