I LOVED this book. The title quickly caught my eye and after I read the synopsis I was sold. I myself have always wanted to travel specifically to the 3 destinations Cassie visits throughout the book: New York, Paris and London. I loved the way Swan managed to create such vivid images for the readers. I really warmed up to Cassie as the novel and her character progressed. I especially loved Bas's character. There were a lot of moments where I found myself laughing out loud because of him. And I

I never expected to enjoy this book as much as I did! As you can read from the synopsis, this is the story of a woman whose marriage falls apart, so she agrees to spend 4 months with each of her 3 best friends in their respective cities (New York, Paris, and London) to try to "find" herself and figure out what she wants to do with the rest of her life.There were a few things about the story that bugged me -- like everyone wanting to turn Cassie into a different person in both looks and actions.

This is the first time I have found a book that I absolutely could not finish. After browsing over reviews, the book was pretty hyped to be a good one. I guess I must be missing something, because I was terribly bored with this novel. Cassie finds out that her best friend of 10 years had a child with her husband. With the way this novel starts out, I had an idea that it was going to be along the lines of The Devil Wore Prada somewhat crossed vaguely with Sex in the City, but set in three cities. I obviously did not do enough research into this book. I only knew that it had to do with a married woman (Cassie) being jilted by her husband and taking some time to recover in three major cities. I started reading this book thinking it was going to be a perfect December read and all Christmassy and snowy themed, to help make me feel all festive.
