I saw this book when I was looking in the library new books section and the cover shouted out to me even though it was an author I had not heard of before. The front cover looks like your typical fun, chick-lit style read. The problem was it was not until I got home and started to read that I found out that this book was the third in the series after I Heart New York and I heart Hollywood. I was unsure if to carry on reading as I was worried I wouldn't be able to fall into the story having notPublished: 08/07/2010Author: Lindsey KelkRecommended for: fan's of 'chick lit'i really do love the 'I Heart' series by the brilliant Lindsey Kelk and this one is an amazing addition to the series. This book features Angela Clark, Jenny Lopez and Alex Reid which are three amazing characters they each bring something fun and funny to the story. They are very likeable and relatable characters. The writing style makes the book flow effortlessly, it is the kind of 'chick lit' book that I love with
"GOOD COMEBACK FOR ANGIE AFTER THE DEBACLE OF THE SECOND BOOK""I heart Paris" may be the best so far in the series, a 4.5 rating. I'm waiting to be blown away with this series to give a full 5 star rating. The plot line is a light comedy, as always, better developed compared to the second book and less dull. There's an evolution (for the better after some missteps) in the romantic Angie-Alex relationship. The annoying Jenny Lopes is AWOL for 99% of the book, Thank goodness! sadly, I know she's
I liked this book so much more than the previous book in this series, in fact I think it is my favorite installment-so far. I had told myself that if I didnt enjoy this book, I would give-up reading the series altogether. Angie and Alexs relationship is far better established in this book, we get to see more of Alexs band, Jenny Lopez is far enough away to not be constantly berating Angie (even though it appears shell be more present in the next novel) and we see the small threads of friendship
This review was originally published on Blogs of a Bookaholic.Boundless summer fun. I cant get enough of Lindsey Kelk!I love that I am loving chick-lit right now! I never thought it would happen but there is something about this series that is so irresistible.I think this is Kelks best writing yet. She had such a simple flirty and fun style, but there was something so warm to it. Everything she wrote was endearing in one way or another whether she was describing the landscape, Angelas insanity
Ok confession time: if I had to pick one, I mean really had to, I think that this would be the least favourite of the I Heart series for me, but I still loved re-reading it and I would never have left it out and I still love Angela. But i don't heart Paris and I think that might be why I didn't love love love it. Plus there are so many nasty things that happen to lovely Angela and lovely Alex in this book, it was a little on the stressful side! Nevertheless I would still highly highly recommend
4.5 starsI think this is the best book in the I Heart series so far. It is defenitely much better than I Heart Hollywood. This is a light and breezy read with lots of laughs throughout. Alex is such a dream boat. Their romantic story is so gripping. You almost want them to fight so you can read about their makeup. I only have one complaint. When Angela's talking to the crowd at that festival and she needs someone to translate for her because apparently people in Europe don't understand English...
