This book reminded me a lot of the Chronicles of Ancient Darkness. They both have a protagonist who is an outcast (though for different reasons) and they are both a telling of how the person grows and becomes 'a person'. The story was awesome. It kept me entertained and hooked throughout the whole book. The character development was especially good. I felt like I knew the characters all personally.
