Chronicle Toward Books Vanished (Private #12)
Against all odds, Reed Brennan re-established Billings as an underground literary society. She and the new initiates created a glamorous secret headquarters and were ready to show Easton Academy that even though Billings House is gone, the Billings Girls are stronger than ever. But before Reed had a chance to revel in her success, something horrible happened: Noelle disappeared. Now Reed has no idea who wants to hurt Noelle or why, but it’s up to Reed to save her. As the clues build up, the clock ticks down, and Reed fears that unless she finds Noelle soon, she’ll lose her friend forever….Rating About Books Vanished (Private #12)

What in the world.... I feel like we were grasping at straws to keep this series afloat. You know the scenario -- 'Private' #12: Noelle vanishes and Reed begins a quest to save her. LOW POINTS: I'll just come out and say it: Noelle's never been a favourite character of mine. Without giving too much away, there comes a point in this, the 12th novel, when Reed says that she and Noelle seem like equals "For the first time ever." And that pretty much sums up why their friendship has long felt false to me: True friends should always feel like equals. Sure, you may have certain advantages
I'm sorry, but after reading this book, I threw it across the room. The beginning got me hooked. Kate Brian has knack for ending her books well with cliffhangers, and starting out the beginning of the next book with excitement. However, she also seems to have a formula for all of her books. It picks up on a cliffhanger and the first few chapters are full of confusion and intensity, then the middle fades into boring, unimportant things, before the end picks the pace back up again. Which is what

You know how you can usually figure out the major plot twist in these books a few chapters ahead or if you're really good, after the first couple of pages? Not this time. The after the obvious part of the ending happened, the last 20-40 pages came out of no where! Buckle your seat belts.
I am a huge Kate Brian fan, but I think this series might be nearing its end. I mean, 12 books (with another on the way) is a pretty good run! But the plot lines are getting a bit repetitive, so it may be time to wrap the series up while its still intriguing and awesome. In the last few books, Reed has been really getting on my nerves and in this one, that annoyance scale went up another tick. Reed just isnt the lovable main character I remember from the early books. Now that she fits in and runs
Okay, so before you decide to check out this series because I've been giving it high ratings, let me just say first; it's pure crack. And even more so after the ending of this book. It's my guilty pleasure, and I'm not saying the story makes sense or not entirely ridiculous. In fact, over the last few installments I've gotten way more critical about it, but there's something irresistibly delicious about it anyway that makes it hard to put down and keep me from devouring it in one sitting. It's so
Say WHAT?!?!?! Surprise, surprise. I'm loving this series. It's like a tv show that would drive me insane waiting for the next episode to air!!!
