The last Artemis Fowl book. Oh Artemis how I shall miss you! This book had laying laughing and screaming and TOTALLY fangirling. I love you Artemis, though I'm a bit dissapointed, you're so 'good'. What happened to that bad boy from the first few books? No matter, it was awesome none the less.I'm shipping Holly/Bulter. They understand each other! :DIt was a nice wrap up, I guess. (view spoiler)[When Arty died, I was crying like a pathetic baby. If he hadn't come back, I would have ran around theI feel like Alice falling into Wonderland.A line came to him: It would be so nice if something made sense for a change. And so we have the last instalment of this brilliant series. Colfer does it with gusto, bringing together all our favourite characters - Artemis, Holly, Butler, Juliet, Foaly, Mulch, and even Opal! - and tying up the whole story arc nicely! Lots of fun :O)
Update-WHAT JUST HAPPENED?!?! I finally read the book and it was really good... up until the end. I'm in shock.... why would Eoin do this to us? I'm so confused *sob* I'm super confused right now. I think I gave this book 5 stars because I love this series and I'm in love with Artemis but there were some parts I found really disappointing. There was non-stop action, which in a way is a good thing but I wish they would have slowed down a bit in some parts. I think I read the book way to fast as

The ending ruined it. Enough said.ETA: Okay, it's been two days since I've finished this, and the more I think about it, the more annoyed I get. I feel like the last two books in the series might've spawned from ideas or even short stories that were set earlier in the series, and that the author took these ideas and reworked them into the last two novels to fill a contract or something. I hate to think that, but I felt like the quality of the writing went down in the last two novels. They were
Review also posted here. While I am a big Artemis Fowl fan, the last Artemis book I truly loved was The Opal Deception (#4), and they seem to be steadily getting worse. Of course, after almost a decade of following Artemis and the gang on their adventures, there was no way I was going to stop now, what with this being the last one and all.I found the first half rather boring and hard to get into. The emergency - and it's the biggest, most disastrous one yet - didn't alarm me at all. It somehow
EDIT 07/12: Other reviews have started flooding in, and all of them seem to be favourable, which tells me I'm in the minority here in my dislike of this book. So I'll leave this review as is, but I encourage you not to let my ramblings stop you from liking this book, if, as it seems, there's a great chance you'll like it anyway.I hope all you AF fans out there will enjoy this book more than I did.Well, here we are. The end of it all. It's been a great ride these past couple of years, so believe
I have been waiting for this book for ages and since my brother likes collecting the artemis fowl books as well, I have been hiding the news that this book will come out for a year now.i mut say, I don't really have very high hopes for this book for several reasons.firstly: wtf is wrong with the guy who created the cover???does he not know that artemis's face must remain a mystery to all...it is a secret that must remain undisclosed at all times.everyone knows that...except apparently the guy
