Racing in the Rain: My Life as a Dog
Quick read. Captures the emotional life and emotional skillfulness of dogs. However, I liked "A dog's purpose" better. Enzo was a bit too smart intellectually for me.
Wonderfully written, tender story of life as a dog. Have Kleenex handy!

review by my 8 year old daughter I think Racing in the Rain is a very sad book. I like how the first few pages of the book are happy, but as you get further into the book it gets sad. Then at the end of the book it's happy again. My favorite part was when the owner of the dog, Denny, was working as hard as he could to get his daughter Zoe back. I loved the author's description of when Enzo, Denny's dog, got hit by a car. After Enzo got hit the story got a little more tragic and serious. In the

It's like being a passenger in your car who suddenly grabs the steering wheel and turns you down a side street. For instance, if we met at a party and I wanted to tell you a story about the time I needed to get a soccer ball in my
It was Avery good book but it was also very sad.
This book really does touch your heart. Enzo is the most lovable character, and I'll admit I did shed a few tears at the end. I definitely recommend this book to any dog-lovers. It makes you laugh, cry, think, and is all together a great story.

Description Concering Books Racing in the Rain: My Life as a Dog
Now a family friendly major motion picture from Fox 2000 Studios—featuring Milo Ventimiglia, Amanda Seyfried, and Kevin Costner as the voice of Enzo the dog! In this young readers’ edition of the New York Times bestselling adult novel The Art of Racing in the Rain, meet one funny mutt - Enzo, the lovable dog who tells this story. Enzo knows he is different from other dogs. Most dogs love to chase cars, but Enzo longs to race them. He learns about racing and the world around him by watching TV and by listening to the words of his best friend, Denny, an up-and-coming race car driver, and Denny's daughter, Zoë, his constant companion. Enzo finds that life is just like being on the racetrack - it isn't simply about going fast. Applying the rules of racing to his world, Enzo takes on his family's challenges and emerges a hero. In the end, Enzo holds in his heart the dream that Denny will go on to be a racing champion with his daughter by his side. For theirs is an extraordinary friendship - one that reminds us all to celebrate the triumph of the human (and canine) spirit.Describe Appertaining To Books Racing in the Rain: My Life as a Dog
